About the Company

Our client, one of the world’s leading producers of key Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and generic formulations, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to be based out of their UK office.

As the CFO you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and overall success of the organization. You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring the company’s financial health, regulatory compliance and sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, reporting, and overseeing all fiscal operations.

About Job

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and board of directors on financial matters, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
• Monitor and manage financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Evaluate and support potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, economic developments, and changes in regulatory requirements that could impact the company’s financial operations.

Candidate Prerequisites:

• MBA/CA/ CPA.
• Proven track record of working in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
• Experience in the healthcare industry, with a solid understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
• Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• A proven track record of managing financial operations in a complex and dynamic environment.
